Itinerary (Hanoi - Lao Cai - Sapa - Tavan - Ban Ho - Train)

6 DAYS SAPA ADVENTURE

Day 1 : Hanoi - Train
Transfer by train from Hanoi to Lao Cai, "Tulico Express". The train departs everyday at 9:30pm with arrival in Lao Cai next day at 5:00 am. The train has six 4-berth compartments.
Overnight in Train.

Day 2 : Lao Cai - Sa Pa - Tavan
After breakfast, transfer from Sa Pa to Lao Chai. Begin the trek to the village of Lao Chai, where the local H'Mong, Dzay and Dzao population continue to dress in their traditional costume. Lunch en route. After lunch, proceed to Ta Van. Dinner and overnight at Ta Van village.
Overnight in Tavan.

Day 3 : Sa Pa - Ban Ho
After breakfast, trek to Giang Ta Chai. Explore this minority village and the outstanding scenery of surrounding villages where you can see the H'Mong and Dzay local people in their daily life, as well as rice terraces, waterfalls and small bamboo forests. Lunch at a river bank. After lunch, continue trekking up the hill of Su Pan to see the Red Dzao and Black H'Mong. Trek down to Ban Ho (18 km). Dinner and overnight at Ban Ho village in a house on stilts.

Day 4 : Ban Ho - Sa Pa
After breakfast, explore the surroundings of Ban Ho village and visit a small waterfall, with the opportunity to swim. Lunch en route. Trek back to the main road and return to Sa Pa by Russian jeep. Overnight at Chau Long Hotel.
Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 5 : Sa Pa - Lao Cai - Train
After breakfast. Free at leisure until transfer to Lao Cai station for overnight train to Hanoi.By train from Lao Cai to Hanoi "Tulico Express". Departure on Sunday 08:20 pm with arrival in Hanoi at 04:30 pm. The train has six 4-berth compartments.
Overnight in Train.

Day 6 : Train (No local guide)
Arrival in Hanoi.
End of services.
