Itinerary (Lao Cai - Sa Pa - Mount Fansipan (via Sin Chai) - local village - Lao Cai train station)

Day 1

Lao Cai - Sa Pa (-/-/-)
Pick up at Lao Cai train station and transfer to Sa Pa. Afternoon free at at leisure. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 2

Sa Pa - Local Village (-/-/-)
After breakfast from Sa Pa, transfer to the Silver Waterfall and Tram Ton Pass and experience the first glimpse of Mt. Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina. Begin with easy trekking for a couple of hours before breaking for a picnic lunch. Continue ascending the mountain, enjoying spectacular mountain views en route. Arrive at the campsite (2900m) in the late afternoon and stop for dinner. Total trekking time is approximately 5 hours, on uphill terrain. Overnight in Local Village.

Day 3

Local Village (Breakfast/-/-)
Trekking on Mount Fansipan (via Sin Chai), day 2 of 3 After breakfast, it is time to start climbing to the peak of Mt Fansipan, and stop to appreciate the panoramic views. Begin descending the mountain, stopping on the way for lunch. After lunch, begin the difficult part of the trek, downhill through rainforest. This portion of the trek requires concentration and careful stepping until arriving at the campsite at 2700m. Total trekking time is approximately 8 hours, on some steep downhill terrain. Overnight in Local Village.

Day 4

Local Village (Breakfast/-/-)
After a refreshing breakfast, continue trekking downhill until reaching the Black H'mong village of Sin Chai. From here, return by car to Sa Pa Overnight in Local Village.

Day 5

Local Village - Lao Cai train station (Breakfast/-/-)
All day at leisure Transfer to Lao Cai train station
