Leave Bangkok behind and head up to the beautiful North of Thailand and experienced the different cultures of the many ethnic groups who live there.

Day 1

BANGKOK - SUKHOTHAI (-/-/-)
After breakfast depart by public air-conditioned bus for Sukkhothai, oldest of Thailand’s former capitals and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight.

Day 2

SUKHOTHAI - PHISANULOKE (Breakfast/-/-)
Morning excursion to Sukhothai, the oldest Thailand's former capitals, where the recently restored ruins of the Grand Palace and many temples dated back to the reign of King Ramkhamhaeng the Great (AD 1277-1317) are preserved as historically valuable monuments and essential elements of Thailand 's cultural heritage.
Then travel by road to Phitsanuloke
Overnight in Phisanuloke.

Day 3

PHISANULOKE - CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/-/-)
Morning sightseeing in Phitsanulok including Wat Mahathat, the local folk museum and a workshop making Buddha images, followed by an afternoon train to Chiang Mai.
Arrive in Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel.
overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 4

CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/-/-)
Take a tour of Doi Suthep Temple, spectacularly located atop a 1,000-meter mountain, this intricately decorated temple offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 5

CHIANG MAI - ELEPHANT CAMP - CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/-/-)
In the morning visit an elephant working camp and see the elephants take their morning bath before giving a demonstration of how they were trained to haul lumber in the forest. A stop is made at a delightful orchid and butterfly farm.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 6

CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/-/-)
Termination of the tour after breakfast.
