Itinerary (Bangkok - Suratthani - Khao Sok national park- Lake - Suratthani - Ko Samui )
An unforgettable adventure in Khao Sok National Park for the unique experience of a night in a tree-house in the midst of the southern jungle and in remote raft-houses by sleepy, beautiful Chiaw Lan Lake, so-called Guilin of Thailand, surrounded by spectacular limestone karsts. End of the tour in the beaufiful island of Koh Samui.

Day 1

BANGKOK - SURAT THANI

Afternoon transfer to the railway station for the overnight train to Suratthani.

Day 2
|
SURAT THANI - KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK
(Breakfast/Lunch/Diner)
Morning arrival at Suratthani train station and transfer by a private pick-up truck (Songthaew) to Khao Sok. Check in and after some refreshments then to the tree houses, each with a mosquito net, double bed and own toilet. After lunch enjoy a relaxing river canoeing through the dramatic scenery while your guide paddles you down the river (in rainy season will be tubing down the Klong Sok in inner-tubes). On the way back stop at a local fish cave. Dinner and overnight in the tree houses.

Day 3

KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK
(Breakfast/Lunch/Diner)
Breakfast and transfer by open pick-up truck to the Raja Phraba Lake. Take a boat to the raft houses arriving for lunch after a total of 3 hours travelling.
After lunch a short boat trip to a local fishing village and then to a bat cave which ones can go swimming. Back to the raft houses for dinner and some relaxation. After dinner take an evening walk to observe the natural nightlife of the rainforest. Overnight in the raft houses.

Day 4
|
KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK
(Breakfast/Lunch/-)
Early morning wake-up call for a canoe trip to look for local wildlife. Coffee and tea will be available on the canoe. Back to the rafthouses for breakfast. Late morning take a boat trip to another part of the National Park for a 3-hour hike to a vantage point giving a dramatic and panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding limestone mountains. Return to the raft houses for a late lunch and the rest of the afternoon is free to relax, swim, tubing, etc.

KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK - KOH SAMUI

After breakfast return by boat and transfer by Songthaew to Suratthani ( packed lunch provided) for onwards boat ferry to Ko Samui. Transfer to hotel accommodation

KOH SAMUI

At leisure to enjoy the sand and sea. Overnight in Koh Samui.

End of service after breakfast.

Transfers by private pick-up truck (Songthaew) to/from Suratthani. Accommodation in shared dbl-bedded non-air-conditioned rooms at Tree Houses and shared dbl-bedded non-air-conditioned room or dormitory style at the raft houses. Accommodation in Ko Samui is standard hotel based on 2 persons in air-conditioned twin-bedded room, B/B basis. 2 nd class air-conditioned overnight train with berth from Bangkok to Suratthani.
Ferry form Suratthani to Ko Samui. Meals as specified in the program. Services of local English-speaking guide at Khao Sok. Admission fees where applicable.
