4 days Kao Sok & transfer to Kho Samui island

Itinerary (Bangkok - Surat thani - Kao Sok National Park - Koh Samui - Samui Island)

This package offers a unique opportunity to explore the virgin rainforest of Khao Sok and learn about its flora and fauna from experienced local guides. With your nights spent in tree houses and raft houses on beautiful Raja Phraba Lake, your days are filled searching for elephants, gaurs, serow, bears and wild pigs roaming the forest floor while gibbons, langurs and macaques play in the canopy above. End of the tour in the beaufiful island of Koh Samui.

Joint tour : Departure every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Day 1

Bangkok - Surat Thani (-/-/-)
Pick up at your hotel in bangkok and transfer to the railway station for the overnight train to Surat Thani.

Day 2

Khao Sok National park (-/Lunch/Diner)
Arrive early morning and meet at Oum Restaurant opposite Suratthani train station for transfer by songthaew or minibus* leaving at 8am, arriving at the Khao Sok national park at about 10.30am.
After lunch, tube down the Klong Sok in inner-tubes, or canoeing; observing dramatic mountain cliffs and wildlife along the way.
Visit a viewpoint, a small waterfall and the local temple to feed the monkeys.
Dinner and overnight in your tree high room.

Day 3

Khao Sok - Raja Phraba Lake (Breakfast/Lunch/Diner)
Breakfast, then transfer to Rajaprabha boat dock to meet the 10.30am boat departure, stopping off on the way at the local Takhun Market.
Boat journey to the raft houses is about 1 hour.
Lunch, then visit a local fishing village, swim in a bat cave and walk to a waterfall.
Return to the raft houses to relax before the evening meal;
then after diner a short night safari to observe the nocturnal life of the rainforest.
Overnight in your raft house room.

Day 4

Khao Sok - Samui island (Breakfast/-/-)
Early morning canoe trip before breakfast;
Breakfast then journey back by boat to Rajaprabha Dock.
Transfer to Don Sak pier for ferry to Samui.
Arrive in Samui island and transfer to your hotel accommodation. End of service.

Open bus from Surat Thani train station and ferry to Samui.
