Itinerary (Bangkok-Benjarong-Ayutthaya-Bangkok)

Day 1 : Ayutthaya - Benjarong (D)
13.00 Depart from your hotel by air conditioned mini van to Phra Nakorn Sri Ayutthaya, one of Thailand's historical and majestic highlights that served as the Thai capital for 417 years and now is selected as one of the world's heritage!. First, we will explore "Wat Phanan Choeng", the oldest monastery in town that was founded 26 years before the establishment of Ayutthaya as the capital. Its main building enshrines a huge, seated Buddha image called "Phrachao Phanan Choeng" or "Loung Pho To." Then, you can learn a simple way of gaining merits by feeding the fish in the pond here. After that, we will travel along the river with Benjarong Cruise and stop at the "Elephant Kraal Pavilion" watching the elephants brotherly taking a bath with their mahouts.
18.00 Arrive at the Benjarong Pier. See the sunset. Time to relax!!
19.00 Just after the sunset, start cruising up the river with spectacular dinner on board seeing the light of St. Joseph's Church, Wat Chai Watthanaram, Chedi Phra Sri Suriyothai, Queen's Palace and so on.


Day 2
: Benjarong (B, L)
Would you like to see the sunrise!! We can wake you up at 6.00.
6.15 Join the people in the village in donating food to the monks who pass by. It believes that people who make merits will have the happy and peaceful life forever.
7.45 Fresh breakfast is served. After breakfast, take a tour around the local Thai village. Enjoy nice scenery and visit the elementary school. You can learn some Thai's lessons!
10.00 Come back to the cruise, and then travel along the River of King to see the way of the river life
12.00 Learn how to cook Thai food. Time for Thai Cooking Course!! Imagine delicious lunch by your own cooking…Yummy! After lunch, we will visit the "Bang Pa In Summer Palace" and Wat Niwet Thamaprawat, the neo-Gothic style temple built by king Chulalongkorn (Rama V). If you would like to buy Thai handmade souvenirs, we will stop at the "Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Craft Center" Here you will also have a glimpse of how farmers in the 4 regions of Thailand live and how their products of arts and crafts are produced. Along the way back, you will see a variety of Thai houses and impressive views along the both sides of the river. Enjoy the scenes of Thai lifestyle and magnificent temples.
17.30 Get to the Benjarong Pier safely. Bon Voyage!!
