SUMBA – IKAT WEAVING & MEGALITHIC ADVENTURE
(Daily departures with English speaking guide)
Day 1 : Bali – Tambulaka – Waikelo (West Sumba) (L/D)
11:00 hrs Pick up from your hotel in Bali and transfer to Ngurah Rai Airport to board the flight to West Sumba.
13:00 hrs Depart by MZ 6702 to West Sumba
14:30 hrs Upon arrival at Tambulaka Airport - West Sumba. Our representative will meet you and transfer directly to Newa Resort

Day 2 : Waikelo – Waikabubak (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning free at leisure or relax on the beach.
After lunch, start to explore West part of Sumba, drive to Kodi for 2 hours to visit Bondo Kodi, Ronambaroro and Ratenggaro villages for traditional thatched roof and highest towering (10 meters) houses and megalithic tombs. Then walk along the beautiful and quite beaches, then cross the river (if the water permits) to Waiyapu village, another West Sumbanese traditional village. Continue drive to Waikabubak.

Day 3 : Waikabubak (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel
Morning visit some villages which located at small hills nearby the city of Waikabubak such as Puunaga, Tarung and Tabar, then to the local market to see the activities of local people in selling and buying their daily needs and hand-weaving. Return to hotel for having lunch. Then drive to Wanokaka district to visit Waigali and Praigoli villages for traditional houses which decorated by horns of huge water buffaloes in front of it, the oldest stone grave called "Watu Kajiwa" which believed as their ancestor's boats. Return to Hotel.

Day 4 : Waikabubak – Lamboya – Waikabubak (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel
Continue to explore Sumba villages with drive to Lamboya with visit to Bonduwunuta and walk through the villages to Kadengar village. Proceed to Maroshi Beach for picnic lunch. After lunch, we will have time to relax on the beach. Late afternoon we return to the hotel.

Day 5 : Waikabubak – Waingapu (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel
After breakfast, we continue to drive back to Waingapu. On the way, stops are made at Waibakul and Pasunga (Anakalang area) to see the greatest stone graves and traditional houses. Upon arrival, check-in at the Hotel for accommodation and lunch. After having lunch drive to Melolo, 62 km to the East to visit Pau and Praiyawang for traditional houses which, stone graves and spectacular traditional "Ikat" weaving process. Return to hotel.

Day 6 : Waingapu – Bali (B)
Breakfast at the hotel
After breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight to Denpasar
