Itinerary (South Bali - Lovina - South Bali)

NORTH BALI INTERLUDE
(Daily departures on private basis with English, German, French, Spanish and Italian speaking guide)

Day 1 : South Bali – Lovina (L)
08:30 hrsDepart from your hotel in Nusa Dua, Sanur or Kuta. First stop at the Taman Ayun temple in Mengwi. Proceed to the botanical gardens and make a stop at the fruit market of Bedugul. Visit the Ulun Danu temple at Lake Beratan and lunch on the lakeside. After lunch drive past Lake Buyan and make a stop for a stroll on the shore of Lake Tamblingan. Stop at the Munduk waterfall and the village of Seririt on the North Coast. Then proceed to Lovina where we check you at the hotel

Day 2 : Lovina and surroundings (B)
Early morning dolphin spotting going out on to the Java sea in a motorized outrigger. The morning is dedicated to a visit of Singaraja, which used to be the capital of Bali in colonial days and once was a busy anchorage in the Java Sea trade. Visit the central market and the Chinese temple near the old harbour. Afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 3 : Lovina - South Bali (B)
08:30 hrsFrom Lovina we proceed Eastward following the coast until we reach the village of Kubutambahan. Visit the important Maduwe Karang temple, one of the largest on Bali. Then we follow the road that winds up to the caldera of Mount Batur. Drive along the outer crater and proceed to the traditional village of Penglipuran. We reach Ubud around lunchtime and there is plenty time for some shopping before we return to the South and take you back to your hotel in Sanur, Kuta,, Nusa Dua, or straight to the airport.
