Itinerary (Medan – Brastagi – Lake Toba - Samosir Island – Medan )

Day 1

Arrival Medan – Brastagi (-/-/-)
Upon arrival, welcome service by our guide. Continue on a two – hour journey to Brastagi, a highland resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent mountain scenery through some part of the lush tropical rain forest of Sumatra. En-route, visit Peceren - a Batak Karo Village with a number of traditional houses that are still being used. Before check-in to hotel, walk around the fruit market of Brastagi.

Day 2

Brastagi – Lake Toba - Samosir Island (Breakfast/-/-)
Leave Bratagi for Parapat a famous lake resort lies on the east of Toba. En route visit the slender Sipiso-piso waterfall which drops into the tip shore of Lake Toba from hundred meter of height. Then drive to Pematang Purba to visit the ancient king’s palace of simalungan. Arrive in Parapat, across the lake on 45=minutes boat ride to reach Samosir Island.

Day 3

Samosir Island - Boat – Excursion (Breakfast/-/-)
After breakfast, observe the Samosir Island by motorboat. En-route, visit Ambarita to see an old village of Batak with its ancient megalithic furniture. Then drive to Simaninda to see folkdance performance of Batak people, children learning in school and other activities of Batak. Before returning to your hotel, visit Tomok where the old historical tomb of Batak’s King lies.

Day 4

Samosir – Medan - Departure (-/-/-)
Cross back the lake to reach Parapat. Continue on a four hour journey to Medan passing by vast view of rubber, palm oil and cacao plantation with countryside landscape. Arrive in Medan, direct transfer to airport to catch your next flight.
