Day 1
|
Arrival Medan

Pick up at airport then transfer to your hotel. On the way to hotel, make a short sightseeing in Medan to visit ancient palace of Sultanate Malay Deli “Maimoon Palace” and Grand Mosque Al-Mashum.
Rest of the day is free at leisure.
Overnight at Antares Hotel.

Day 2
|
Medan – Bohorok – Medan

Drive westward passing by vast view of oilpalm and rubber plantation to Bukit Lawang, the Orangutan rehabilitation centre located in Gunung Leuser Park. This is one of the largest national park in the world containing over 800,000 ha of virgin rainforest.
Upon arrival, have lunch at local restaurant and proceed to observe the closest primate to humanoid so called Orangutan in its natural habitat jungle which is accessible through the river.
After the observation, have a short rest before drive back to Medan.
Note: The tour includes jungle walk.

Day 3
|
Medan – Berastagi – Lake Toba/Samosir Island

Drive to Lake Toba, one of the deepest and largest crater lake in the world, passing by the scenic highland town of Berastagi.
Enroute stop at Peceran, a village with a number of traditional houses still being used where eight families live in together in each house, a local fruit market, Sipiso Piso waterfall and the ancient palace of King Simalungun.
Arrive at Parapat, a lake and mountain resort lies in the east shore of Lake Toba. Across on board to Samosir, a huge volcanic island in the middle of Lake Toba.

Day 4
|
Samosir Boat Excursion

A day excursion to explore the natural beauty and cultural aspects of Batak tribe visiting Ambarita where the remnant megalithic culture of Batak stands in front of traditional houses.
Further visit to Simanando to see folkdance performed by the villagers as well as children learning in school.
Before back to your hotel visit Tomok where carved statues stand in an ancient graveyard as memorial to the kings of bygone days.
Overnight at Silinton Hotel.

Day 5
|
Samosir – Parapat – Medan

Across back the lake to Parapat and then drive to Medan passing the town of Pematang Siantar and Tebingtinggi. Upon arrival direct transfer to airport to catch your onward flight.
End of tour.
