Itinerary (Bali - Labuan Bajo - Komodo - Labuan Bajo - Ruteng - Bajawa - Riung - Moni - Keimutu - Maumere - Bali)

KOMODO-FLORES DISCOVERY
(Private daily departures, except Sundays with English speaking guide)

Day 1 : Bali – Labuan Bajo – Komodo (L/D)
05:00 hrs Depart from your Bali hotel and transfer to the Ngurah Rai airport to board the flight to Labuan Bajo on Flores.
07:00 hrs Depart to Labuan Bajo (direct flight) or on Mondays, Wednesday and Saturdays flight via Bima departure at 08:45 hrs (subject to change)
Upon arrival at Labuan Bajo, meet and greet with our representative and directly transfer to the pier where you board on a wooden boat for boating to Rinca island. Explore the giant Monitor Lizard "Komodo Dragon" in their pure environment. Lunch and Dinner is served on the boat.

Day 2 : Komodo – Labuan Bajo – Ruteng (B/L/D)
Breakfast on the boat
Morning boating to Komodo Island. Walk for 1.5 miles to Banugulung to see the activities of the giant Monitor Lizard "Komodo Dragon" which was scientifically described in 1912 as Varanus Komodoensis, which is up to 3 m long and about 150 kg, weight. The total number of these lizards is estimated at 3.500 - 5.000 inhabited in Komodo, Padar, Rinca Island and Western Flores. Return to the based and boating to Pink Beach. Lunch will be served on boat and continue boating back to Labuan Bajo.Drive overland to Ruteng - a cool and small town as the capital city of Manggarai Regency where major Mangarainese tribe dwelt. On the way you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of rice fields with lush and dry hills as the back ground, and other

places according to local happenings. On arrival direct check-in at the hotel. Dinner will be provided at a local restaurant.

Day 3 : Ruteng – Bajawa (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel
After breakfast, continue drive to the East to Bajawa - another cool and small town as a capital city of Ngada Regency (home of Ngada and Nagekeo tribes). Stops will be made "Ranamese" Lake, and snapshot at magnificent peak of Mt. Inerie - an active volcano. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Bajawa. After lunch check in to the hotel. Rest of day is free at own leisure.
Dinner and accommodation at the Bintang Wisata Hotel or similar
Day 4 : Bajawa – Riung (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel
Explore traditional village of Bajawa tribes and attend their traditional dance and music at BOLOJI village. Visit Bena - a megalithic village where people do preserve their ancestral spirits believed and way of life, which can be seen in their "Ngadhu" and "Bhaga" . Ngadu and Bhaga are conical thatched roof huts symbolized their Male and Female ancestral spirits. On the way you will stop on the slope of Inerie active volcano for taking pictures. Drive to North for 2 hours to Riung with stop at Soa - a natural hot spring water for taking bathing. A picnic lunch or lunch box is provided. Continue to Riung and stay overnight.

Day 5 : Riung – Moni (B/L/D)
After breakfast, board a boat to explore the marine garden of seventeen islands. Lunch box or picnic lunch is provided. In the afternoon drive to Moni Village.
Dinner will be provided at a local restaurant.
Accommodation at Flores Sare Hotel
Day 6 : Moni – Keimutu – Maumere (B/L/D)
After an early morning breakfast at 5.30 drive up to Kelimutu volcano to see the three colored lakes. Upon arrival walk for 1,5 km and then ascend 127 steps to top to view Kelimutu's light turquoise, olive green and dark black lakes. A Dutch Geologist discovered Kelimutu in 1914; at the time the lakes were red, blue and white. Descend to Moni village to view beautiful hand woven clothes and to visit Kowanara village famous for its traditional Lionese houses. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Paga Beach. Proceed to Maumere with several stops made according to local happenings.
Dinner and Accommodation at the Flores Sao Resort
Day 7 : Maumere – Bali (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Denpasar
Upon arrival in Bali either continue with your trip or transfer to your hotel in Bali
