Itinerary (Bali - West Lombok - Satonda Island - Komodo - Bima - East Lombok - Gili - Nanggu (South Lombok) - Bali)

OMBAK PUTIH BALI - KOMODO - BALI

Day 01 : Bali – West Lombok (L/D)
Embarkation in Benoa, Bali around 09:00. Departure for Padangbai, East Bali. After lunch you will make an excursion to the traditional Bali Aga village of Tenganan. See beautiful rice terraces and panoramas. Of course you can also stay aboard and explore the fine reef near Padangbai. You will be served a special welcome dinner at sunset when the ship sets sail for Lombok.

Day 02 : West Lombok – Satonda Island (B/L/D)
Arrival at Lombok island. A tour by bus through western Lombok to a traditional Sasak village, and the water palace of Narmada. You will enjoy lunch by the side of a natural swimming pool where you can take a refreshing dive. After lunch relaxing at the beach of Senggigi Bay . During a special candle light dinner under stars the boat sails to Satonda island.

Day 03 : Satonda Island – Komodo (B/L/D)
Arrival at Satonda island. See the mysterious crater lake and relax on the white sandy beach. The coral garden here is teeming with colorful fish. In the early afternoon sailing to Komodo National Park .

Day 04 : Komodo – Bima (B/L/D)
The highlight of this trip to the Lesser Sunda Islands may well be your visit to Komodo National Park. Early morning hike to watch the infamous Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Two rangers will guide you to see these feared predators that can reach a length of more than three meters and can weigh up to 150kg. Over lunch you will sail to one of the beautiful surrounding islands where you can explore the rich reef or bask in the sun. At night the crew will prepare a romantic BBQ at the beach. Late night departure for Bima.

Day 05 : Bima – East Lombok (B/L/D)
From the bustling capital of East Sumbawa, Bima, you can join a half full day trip to the local colorful market and a traditional weaving village. Witness the daily activities of traditional Sumbawanese village life. In the afternoon sailing to east Lombok.

Day 06 : East Lombok – Gili Nanggu ( South Lombok ) (B/L/D)
Arrival in East Lombok . You will visit a traditional pottery village and a weaving village where you will see a demonstration of the different steps of this "ikat" weaving process followed by a visit to a small village where villagers enthusiastically will perform some traditional dances. Lunch will be a traditional Sasak meal. If time permits, you will swim and snorkel at a nearby island. In the late afternoon the Ombak Putih starts sailing to South Lombok.

Day 07 : Gili Nanggu (South Lombok) – Bali (B/L)
In the morning a last stop at a small island, off the south west coast of Lombok . A last morning in paradise. At noon the Ombak Putih will set sail to Bali. Arrival in Benoa at around 17:00. Disembarkation.

Accommodation
On deck, the spacious lounge overlooks the sea. You can decide to have your breakfast, lunch or dinner here or on the large table outside on deck. In the daytime you can relax in teak deck chairs under the canopy or on our sun deck. Below deck you can find privacy in a spacious cabin. Each of them offers touches of the old sailing days, bunk beds or double beds and antique styled furniture, all tastefully blended with modern comfortable facilities like individually controlled air-conditioning and an en suite bathroom with toilet and shower.
The entire ship is yours to enjoy. Sing along with the crew in the rear of the ship or contemplate the day above the waves at the bow. We have built the boat for you to experience Indonesia in a unique and safe way.


Services on board
The ship's kitchen serves local and international specialties and we organize at least one barbecue at the beach during the cruise. Food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the daily fare. Beer, an International wine selection or Balinese award winning wines, several spirits and tropical cocktails are available at reasonable prices.
On board we have a laundry service.  We allow two pieces (complimentary) and other laundry needs can be paid on board according to the laundry price list.
We have snorkeling equipment on board for you to explore the fascinating underwater world. Do you like fishing? Since our crew is seafaring people they can help you catch your evening meal, although we do not carry professional fishing equipment. Our latest water sport activity service is two sea canoes. Try it out, it is real fun! Although we do not have diving equipment on board we can organize diving in Komodo National Park, via our sister ship, the dive liveaboard Ombak Biru, or a local dive base in Komodo National Park. This is an optional service and has to be arranged in advance. Prices are on request.
Every trip is guided by a European tour leader. They live most of their time in Indonesia, speak the language and are very knowledgeable about the areas we visit. Daily radio contact with the office in Bali guarantees that both the guests and the crew are kept up to date with current events. We also have a satellite phone on board.
