Day 1

Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham

Pick up at your hotel. Drive from Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham.
Journey north through the Mekong River basin. If time permits, vistit the tiny crossroads town of SNOUL, famous for an unusual delicacy; here, spider merchants sell different varieties of large, furry arachnids for locals and adventurous tourists to snack on.
Excursion by speedboat to Phnom Hanchey
Kampong Cham is a lively port on the banks of the Mekong River with some good examples of colonial-era architecture.
After visting the LOCAL MARKET and exploring the town, travel in to the countryside to PHNOM PROS ("Man Hill") and PHNOM SREI ("Woman Hill"). According to local tradition, two teams of men and women competed to build a stupa on the summit of each hill before dawn. After being tricked into thinking that daybreak had already come, the men lost the competition and, as a result, forever after had to be the ones to approach the women for their hands in marriage.
Continue to WAT NOKOR, a thriving modern-day monstery founded on a 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine.

Kampong Cham - Kratie

After breakfast drive from Kampong Cham to Kratie.
Visit Prasat Prey Nokor Visit hundred columns pagoda
The provincial capital of KRATIE is a pleasant, small riverside town on the banks of the Mekong River.
Visit the DOLPHIN OBSERVATION PARK located just north of town and enjoy an hour-long boat trip past peaceful rural scenery as you watch out for a rare sighting of one of the 50 endangered Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins that inhabit this strech of the river. On the way back, stop at WAT PHNOM SAMBOK.

After Breakfast drive from Kratie to Sen Monorom.

Day 4
|
Sen Monorom

Excursion to Phnong villages with elephant trek and minority dance show.
From Sen Monorom, travel to the Phnong village of PHULUNG or PUTANG or TANG KROM VILLAGE, and embark on an ELEPHANT TREK through the surrounding jungle.
Continue to nearby waterfalls and return to the village to watch a minority dance show before returning back to Sen Monorom.
Overnight in Sen Monorom.

Sen Monorom

From Sen Monorom, travel on adventurous country roads to BOU SRA WATERFALL, a spectacular double-tiered waterfall and the largest in Cambodia. In total, the upper and lower tiers drop form a height of 35 meters.
On the way back, visit a small PHNONG VILLAGE. Visit a nearby waterfall.
Overnight in Sen Monorom.
