Arrival in Koh Kong - By vehicle from Koh Kong to Kampong Som.
Overnight in Kampong Som.

2 :

After breakfast, visit Ream National Park (also known as Preah Sihanouk National Park), the park was founded in 1993 to protect various endangered species. 21,000 hectares are covered by tropical forest and mangroves and can be explored by boat. It is home to many bird and animal species including dolphins.
Overnight in Kampong Som.

3 :

Travel along National Route 4 through the Elephant Mountains and Kompong Speu Province to Cambodia's premier beach community.

After breakfast, visit
Wat Phnom, a temple and location of the first pagoda to house the four Buddha statues found on the banks of the Mekong. It is the only hill (27 meters) in the capital. Continue to
Wat Ounalom, a very important wat comprising 44 structures facing the Tonle Sap Lake to house a hair of the Buddha. Then
Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, the royal palace stands on the site of the former citadel, Bantey Kev. Visitors are not allowed in some portions of the grounds, as the palace is the official residence of King Norodom Sihamoni. The silver pagoda is often called the Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha or Wat Preah Kaeo after the statue housed there. The wooden temple was originally built by King Norodom and inside, its floor is comprised of more than 5000 silver blocks which together weigh nearly 6 tons.
In the afternoon, visit National Museum designed by a French archeologist and painter, George Groslier, in Khmer style to exhibit works previously scattered throughout the country. It contains a collection of Khmer art including the beautiful 6th century bronze statue of Vishnu. Continue to
Tuol Sleng Museum (Museum of Genocide), formerly the Tuol Svay Prey High School, in 1975 it became the Khmer Rouge's main torture and interrogation center. It was known as Security Prison 21 – or just S-21. Then, go to
Central Market, a covered market distinguished by its central dome. It is filled with shops selling jewelry, fabrics and all kinds of souvenirs. A great place for browsing.

DAY 5 :
Phnom Penh (B/-/-)
Travel to Oudong, the capital of Cambodia between 1618 and 1866. The ridges of Phnom Udong feature several stupas containing the ashes of former Khmer kings. On the larger ridge are the remains of Vihear Preah Ath Roes, ‘Vihara of the 18-Cubit Buddha'. There are good views of the Cambodian countryside from here. Continue to
ethnic Cham Village and Kompong Luong, the main industry of this village is silversmithing. Visit the local workshop, assisted by the Cambodian Craft Cooperation, a German NGO.

DAY 6 :
Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/-/-)
Transfer by local boat from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.
Watch life go by on the banks of the river as you enjoy your journey north on the Tonle Sap River and Lake, exploring the lake's many fishing villages.

| Then visit Angkor Wat, a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu by King Suryavarman II. It was constructed over a period of 30 years and is world famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. In 1992 the UNESCO declared the monument and the whole city of Angkor a World Heritage Site. Also visit Preh khan, a temple built by King Jayavarman VII with towered enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors in a jungle setting. Preah Khan covers a very large area but the temple itself is enclosed within a rectangular wall of around 700 by 800 meters.

DAY 7 : Siem Reap (B/-/-)
Visit Angkor Thom, a fortified Royal City (10 square kilometers) built by King Jayavarman VII. The city has five monumental gates and is encircled by a moat 100 meters wide. In the center of the walled city are the city's most important monuments including Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and Phimeanakas with Royal Enclosure.
Continue to Visit Banteay Srei, a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The temple is square with entrances on the east and west. Of main interest are the three central towers which are decorated with male and female divinities and beautiful filigree relief work.
In the evening, visit Phnom Bakheng, the hilltop temple ruins which provide one of the best views of Angkor Wat, especially at sunset.

DAY 8 : Siem Reap (B/-/-)
After breakfast, visit Prasat Kravan, the five brick towers notable for the bas-reliefs cut into the bricks on the interior walls.
Continue to Banteay Kdei, a massive Buddhist temple surrounded by four concentric walls.
Visit Sras Srang, a basin opposite of Banteay Kdei with a tiny island in the middle where only the stone base remains of what was once a wooden temple.
Then Ta Prohm, one of the most popular attractions of Angkor.
Visit Ta Keo, the first Angkorian monument built entirely of sandstone and was dedicated to Shiva. Thommanon, the temple which mirrors Chau Say Tevoda, They both were also dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu.
Visit Roluos Group Temple, which are Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong. These monuments mark the beginning of classical art, as some of the earliest great temples built by the Khmer.
