Day 1

Lao Cai - Bac Ha (-/-/-)
From Lao Cai, travel to Bac Ha, stop to visit the vibrant CAN CAU market, an open-air market situated near the Chinese border. The Flower Hmong minority with their colorful dresses is the most common here.Trekking around Bac Ha
Then enjoy a leisurely trek in the mountain countryside around Bac Ha, stopping to visit villages of the Flower Hmong and Tay peoples. Paths are wide and level, making this excursion suitable for novice trekkers.
Back to your hotel. Overnight in Bac Ha.

Day 2

Bac Ha - Sa Pa (Breakfast/-/-)
After breakfast visit the colorful market at Bac Ha(open on Sundays only) , where ethnic minorities from around the region gather to trade water buffalo, livestock and handicrafts. The people inhabiting the area are mainly Flower H'mong, but there are also Dzao, Nung, Xa Fang, Phu La, Thai and many more ethnicities as well.
Then depart from Bac Ha to Sapa. A journey west in Lao Cai Province. The rural scenery is lovely and the area is home to many distinct hill tribe groups. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 3

Sa Pa - Lao Cai train station (Breakfast/-/-)
After breakfast depart from Sa Pa, travel by jeep to the village of Lao Chai, where the trek begins. Visit the H'Mong, Dzay and Dzao people, while enjoying spectacular scenery of terraced rice paddies, waterfalls and the small bamboo forests that are unique to the northern region. ,br> From Ta Van, continue to Giang Ta Chai, another minority village populated by Hmong and Dzay, after which visitors transfer by jeep back to Sa Pa.
Transfer to Lao Cai train station
