Day 1
|
HANOI

On arrival, welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2
|
HANOI
(Breakfast/Lunch/-)
After breakfast, spend a day touring the capital, including a visit to the ho chi minh mausoleum (closed on mondays and fridays), his personal residence, the one pillar pagoda and the tran quoc pagoda. Then, depart to the museum of ethnology and its striking exhibition about the vietnamese ethnic plurality.
In the afternoon, visit the temple of literature. Then start a one-hour rickshaw tour of the capital and spend some time wandering in the old quarter and its antique shops before visiting ngoc son temple located on the hoan kiem lake.
Enjoy the water puppet show early in the evening.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3
|
HANOI - HALONG - HANOI

After an early breakfast at the hotel, travel by road to the majestic halong bay. On arrival, board a private junk for a 4-hour excursion through the mystical landscape and discover one of the natural marvels of vietnam.
During the navigation, the boat passes by numerous islets and stops at a natural cave. Finally enjoy a swim in the jade waters of the gulf of tonkin (if the weather permits). A delicious seafood lunch will be served on board. Return to hanoi in the evening.

Day 4
|
HANOI - DANANG - HOI AN

After breakfast, depart to the airport for your morning flight to danang. on arrival, visit the cham museum which presents the greatest exhibition about the ancient civilization of champa. Continue to the riverside town of hoi an, an important trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries now listed as a unesco world heritage site.
Check-in to the hotel and then take a walk around hoi an's ancient quarter to explore its treasures, such as the japanese bridge or phuc kien pagoda. Finally, pay a visit to a lantern making cottage and learn how to make one on your own.
Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5
|
HOI AN - DANANG - HUE
(Breakfast/Lunch/-)
After an early breakfast, leave for hue via the hai van pass. On arrival, take a boat trip along the perfume river to thien mu pagoda before checking in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the imperial citadel (listed as a unesco world heritage site) and emperor tu duc's mausoleum, which was built following the mysterious laws of geomancy.
Overnight in Hue.

Day 6

HUE - SAIGON ( HO CHI MINH )

After an early breakfast, leave to hue airport for your morning flight to ho chi minh city (saigon). On arrival, proceed to your hotel. Enjoy a tour in the colonial residential quarter with the hotel de ville, the opera house, the 19th century notre-dame cathedral, the beautiful central post office and the more modern reunification palace (outside).
In the afternoon, visit the war remnants museum and continue to cho lon and the bustling binh tay market. Finally, end the day with a visit to a lacquer ware factory.
Overnight in ho chi minh city.

Day 7

HO CHI MINH - BEN TRE ( delta du mekong )- HO CHI MINH

After breakfast, depart from ho chi minh city and drive to ben tre in the mekong delta. On arrival, enjoy the photogenic visit of a brick factory located on the bank of the river. embark a boat and start cruising on the mekong river, in the middle of its activity and the never-ending criss-cross of the sampans. Stop on the way for the visit of a coconut candy workshop and to discover the processing of dried coconut. The navigation resumes until reaching nhon trach canal and its green landscapes. After disembarking the boat, take a walk to a mat-weaving house for a tropical fruit tasting before heading by motorbike or rickshaw to the restaurant.
In the afternoon, drive back to ho chi minh city.
